Second Fridays
from September to June, from 6 - 9pm,
is Kidz Nite Out.

This is a time set aside for parents to have time for themselves.

For the kids, it’s time to  de-stress from the week, play, eat, and hang out

with friends in a
    safe and nurturing
       environment.

Kidz Nite Out adopts Yafete

For several years, Kidz Nite Out has supported Yafete, a child from Malawi, whom we adopted through World Vision. Kidz collects loose change for the monthly support of $35.

About Yafete:

Yafete lives with his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. His parents struggle to provide for the family.

He is growing up in a rural farming community in the African country of Malawi. A typical family home is constructed of heavy mud with a grass roof. Vegetables and porridge are staple foods, but the people also eat meat when it is available.

Temperatures reach the upper 70s and fall to only 54 degrees in this tropical climate. Beautiful mountains surround the land.

Yafete is in primary school and he enjoys studying the national language. He helps at home by sweeping the floors. He likes to play soccer and he is in good health.

The Kidz Nite Out sponsorship of Yafete, through World Vision, provides him and his community with the assistance they need to save a generation from the HIV/AIDS crisis.

World Vision uses the sponsorship support to meet Yafete's needs and minimize the impact of AIDS in his community through tangible prevention and care programs.

Kidz Nite Out, through partnership with World Vision, is helping children and families gain access to basic needs and learn about God's unconditional love.
