July 9-13, 2018
Q: What is Middle School Quest Week?
A: It is a camp for Middle School Students (entering 6th graders and promoted 8th graders) held by Grace First Presbyterian Church and around southern CA.
Q: What are students doing throughout the week?
A: Each day we have a specific theme and activity to create a fun and meaningful experience for participants. The following was the schedule for last year’s quest week:
a. California Science Center
a. Tuesday Surprise!!
III. Wednesday – Friday : Camping at Point Mugu State Park, CA
a. Point Mugu State Park, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, features five miles of ocean shoreline with rocky bluffs, sandy beaches and sand dunes, rugged hills and uplands, two major river canyons, wide grassy valleys dotted with sycamores, oaks and a few native walnuts. There are more than 70 miles of hiking trails. The beach also features swimming, body surfing and surf fishing.
Q: What are the goals of Quest Week?
A: In a safe and fun (sometimes crazy) atmosphere we create the space and time for students to discover the blessing of friends, community and God.
This year we have decided to explore God greatness and love through creation, both in ourselves and out in the world.
