Life of Christ Sermon Series

Jesus’ experiences in his 33 years of earthly life were vast. From the Flight into Egypt (Matthew 2:13-23) when his parents Mary and Joseph had learned that King Herod intended to kill the infants of that area and an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream to tell him to flee – to his baptism at age 30, which began his public ministry – to his miracles, healings, and mountaintop experiences – and especially the difficult days leading up to his death and the joy of resurrection – Jesus had a multitude of experiences knowing the fullness of what it means to be human and divine.

The “Life of Christ” Sermon Series is based on the biblical stories told in our beautiful stained-glass windows at Grace First Presbyterian Church, which were created by Judson Studios (the oldest family-run stained-glass studio in America). As we journey with God and experience new life in Jesus Christ, may God strengthen our understanding and practice of what it means to be human, as Christ was truly human, created in the image of God.
