Instrumental Music

“Praise the Lord with trumpet sound, with lute and harp, with loud crashing cymbals!”

BELLS OF GRACE performs at services and outreach performances throughout the year.  The Grace First handbell ensembles are regular faces at AGEHR Area XII handbell events.

ORCHESTRA is open to musicians of all ages who play orchestral instruments.  We accompany the Sanctuary Choir in performances of major works.  Recent performances have included Handel’s Messiah, Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, Bach’s Jesu Meine Freude and Mozart’s Requiem.

Taiko

Aka Taru Taiko Is Welcoming New Drummers

The Grace First Taiko group has resumed outdoor practices! Director Victor Fukuhara and the drummers are meeting in the Kobata Japanese Garden.

Hour-long practices are scheduled for 3:30PM on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. And we are looking for new members! Beating a drum and being with friends are great ways to feel good! Learning the subtleties provides a sense of accomplishment, too.

Contact us for more information, or just come to a Monday afternoon practice!
