Bells of Grace
Bells of Grace is a welcoming handbell ensemble where ringers of all ages and experience levels come together to create shimmering, expressive music. We ring 3–5 octaves of Schulmerich handbells, filling worship with moments of beauty, reflection, and joy.
Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings from 6:00–7:00pm, September through June — a weekly gathering where teamwork, laughter, and shared purpose shape every rehearsal.
The ensemble offers music in worship once a month, blessing the congregation with tones that lift the spirit and remind us of the wonder found in simple, unified sound.
Taiko
Aka Taru Taiko Is Welcoming New Drummers
The Grace First Taiko group has resumed outdoor practices! Director Victor Fukuhara and the drummers are meeting in the Kobata Japanese Garden.
Hour-long practices are scheduled for 3:30PM on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. And we are looking for new members! Beating a drum and being with friends are great ways to feel good! Learning the subtleties provides a sense of accomplishment, too.
Contact us for more information, or just come to a Monday afternoon practice!
